At Taboola, creating an inclusive workplace for women starts by developing our female-identifying Taboolars and hiring more of them who can offer their diverse experiences and backgrounds. Each year, we continue to see the positive results of inclusive efforts toward our employee development and hiring practices, so we’re particularly excited to announce our newest partnership with Sistas in Sales (SIS). SIS is the first national organization focused on women of color in professional sales careers and includes a global community of over 12,000 members. The SIS community represents a wide range of diverse women in sales with specialties in media, software, finance, IT, education, and technology sales. As part of the partnership, we’re spotlighting three women from the Taboola sales organization who have been recognized by leaders, represent industry excellence, and contribute beyond their roles to driving belonging and inclusion at Taboola.

Why partner with SIS?

Representation matters, and hiring women with different backgrounds and viewpoints is critical to our success. As part of our diversity commitment, we aim to ensure at least 45% of all promotions and new hires, including key leadership roles, will be women and/or racially diverse by 2025. Our Talent Acquisition team and hiring partners continue to focus on recruiting diverse sales talent without relying on the same cookie-cutter methods, and this partnership with SIS is an investment in how we approach finding great talent while engaging some of our Taboolars and giving them a platform to share their experiences.

Beyond the perks of marketing our employer brand to a talent pool we may have yet to reach, we’re excited about this partnership with SIS because our representation efforts impact our people and others who partner with Taboola. Candidates trust employees’ voices, and we have some great ones at Taboola who are eager to open up about their unique and inspiring experiences, backgrounds, and talents.

She has watched them be awarded as sales club winners, top account managers, and, most recently, as the 2023 Top Growth Publisher Team at Taboola! Katia also recently became the co-chair of ERG, TaboolaHER, and is excited to celebrate and participate in women’s development within and outside of her organization. When she’s not strategizing with clients and helping to shape her people, you can find her sculpting, drawing, and spending time with her husband and eight-month-old son.

Sade Hatcher, Enterprise Advertising Manager (UK)

As an Enterprise Advertising Manager, Sade Hatcher leads the UK business for Brands & Agencies at Taboola. Her experience in driving successful campaigns for performance to brand-specific KPIs and her proficient design of various creative funnels have supported hundreds of advertisers across multiple verticals. Named after the famous 80’s singer, beyond her work, Sade enjoys her time listening to jazz and soulful house records, as well as sourcing new vinyl for her collection across the London record shops. This drives her passion for both the artistry of sales and the harmony of music; Sade brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic prowess to every endeavor and is also an involved member of Taboola’s ERG, TaboolaInCulture, which supports anyone at Taboola who feels their ethnicity or religion makes them a minority in their environment.
