Last week, Taboolars were busy attending industry events around the globe, from New York City to Mexico City and London. Below is a brief recap of each event, along with photos and a special video (in French) with coverage from September’s Paris Retail Week 2015.
Ad: Tech 2015 (London)
As data, content, and technology merge closer than they ever have before, this year’s Ad:Tech conference in London brought together leading experts from advertising and technology sectors to discuss the challenges, trends, and opportunities facing the marketing industry as a whole. Over 300 brands, agencies and media owners were present for compelling keynotes and panel discussions.
Taboola was on hand at Stand #314 with the ever-so-popular Zoltar to help engage visitors and predict the future. The classic animatronic fortune teller machine found in arcades became famous in the 1988 film, Big, starring Tom Hanks, and remains an iconic piece of movie history today.
Content Rising Summit by Skyword (New York)
Senior level marketers gathered at New York City’s Four Seasons Hotel for an interactive workshop featuring top level executives from across the content marketing industry. Taboola’s Demand Partnerships Manager, Ben Tomaszewski, gave an insightful presentation about how content discovery can help marketers reach and engage more consumers at scale, increase desktop and mobile site traffic, and ultimately boost conversions.
#PortadaMex 2015 (Mexico City)
Taboolars also visited Mexico City for Portada’s 5th Advertising and Media Forum, where brand executives and agencies convened to learn about social media and marketing opportunities, the role of online video, and more. While there, Taboola’s Media Team extraordinaires, Melody and Juan Carlos, took the city by storm and met with several prospective and existing partners.
Taboola was featured on French television last week as part of BFM TV’s comprehensive coverage of Paris Retail Week 2015 which took place in late September. At the event, Taboola’s Head of France and Europe Sales Research, Harry Levy, spoke to an audience full of marketing directors and retailers about how content discovery can help boost sales, brand awareness, and conversions. Hear more from Harry (in Français) at 8 minutes and thirty seconds into the video segment below.
